Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 15, 2026
These terms govern your use of Jamtrackers (the “Service”), operated by Parker Siddall, an independent sole proprietor based in California, United States. By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the Service.
1. Who can use Jamtrackers
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering you confirm that you are, and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us at jamtrackers@gmail.com if you believe someone else has accessed it.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, is used unlawfully, or is used in a way that harms the Service or other users.
You can delete your account at any time by contacting us.
3. Acceptable use
Don’t use the Service to:
- break any law, or infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy rights;
- upload malicious code, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, its infrastructure, or other users’ accounts;
- scrape, harvest, or bulk-download content except as permitted by our robots directives;
- place unreasonable load on the Service through automated requests;
- post content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, or deliberately misleading.
4. Content you provide
You keep ownership of anything you upload — audio, profile details, or other material. By uploading it you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display it for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we’re required to retain it by law.
You confirm that you have the rights necessary to upload anything you upload, and that doing so doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights.
We may remove content that breaches these terms or that we’re legally required to remove.
5. YouTube content
Play-alongs on Jamtrackers are videos hosted on YouTube and published by their respective creators. We don’t host, store, or redistribute those videos — they are embedded and played through YouTube’s own player.
Your use of embedded videos is also governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy. All rights in those videos remain with their creators and rights holders.
If you’re a rights holder and believe content is linked or embedded improperly, contact us at jamtrackers@gmail.comand we’ll respond promptly.
6. Automated musical analysis
Chord changes, key and tempo detection, scale suggestions, and practice tips on Jamtrackers are generated automatically, including by AI systems. They are provided for practice purposes and may be incomplete or wrong.
Don’t rely on them as authoritative transcriptions — for performance, recording, examination, or publication, verify by ear or against an official source. We make no warranty as to their musical accuracy.
7. Our content
Jamtrackers’ own material — the site, its design, its chord and scale reference charts, and its software — belongs to us or our licensors. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial practice. You may not copy, redistribute, or build a competing service from it without permission.
8. Availability
Jamtrackers is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular track or feature will remain available. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss of profit arising from your use of the Service.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you’re using the Service as a consumer, your statutory rights under the law of your country of residence are unaffected.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date, and for material changes we’ll give reasonable notice through the Service. Continuing to use Jamtrackers after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. If you’re a consumer resident in the EU or UK, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your country of residence, and may bring proceedings there.
