G♯ Lydian #9

G♯ Lydian #9 is a Lydian scale with a raised second, so it combines Lydian's floating fourth with an augmented second at the bottom. The result is bright and exotic at once. A modern jazz and fusion colour over major seventh chords when Lydian alone sounds too conventional.
