G♯ Bebop Locrian
G♯ · A · B · C♯ · D · D♯ · E · F♯
G♯ Bebop Locrian adds a natural fifth to the Locrian mode as a chromatic passing note, giving eight notes and the even chord-tone placement that defines the bebop scales. It's the half-diminished member of the family, used over m7♭5 chords in minor jazz progressions. Advanced, and only worth learning once the basic bebop scales are solid.
