F Hungarian Minor

F Hungarian Minor is a harmonic minor scale with a raised fourth, which adds a second augmented second and pushes the drama considerably further. It's the classic Eastern European folk sound, heard in Hungarian and Romani music and borrowed constantly by neoclassical metal players. Dramatic, and easy to overplay.
