A six-note scale built from the root, flat second, major third, flat fifth, flat sixth, and flat seventh, C♯ Mystery #1 is deliberately unstable, with the flat second and flat fifth working against the major third. It's a modern composition colour, best used for atmosphere. Not a scale that resolves anywhere on its own.
