A Bebop Major

The major bebop scale adds a raised fifth as a chromatic passing note to the major scale, so A Bebop Major has eight notes and lands its chord tones on the beat when played in eighths. It's the go-to bebop scale over major sixth and major seventh chords. Practise it strictly in time — the rhythm is the whole point.
