A♯ Pelog

A Western approximation of one of the tuning systems of Indonesian gamelan music, A♯ Pelog uses the root, flat second, minor third, fifth, and flat sixth. The narrow intervals at the bottom give it a distinctly non-Western, shimmering quality. Effective for atmospheric and world-influenced playing rather than functional harmony.
