Associated with Barry Harris's teaching, A♯ Minor Six Diminished is a minor scale with both the flat and natural sixth, so alternating notes spell out a minor sixth chord and a diminished seventh chord. That built-in alternation is the point: it generates smooth voice-led harmony almost automatically. A powerful concept, and a genuinely advanced one.
