A♯ Flamenco contains both a minor and a major third alongside a flat second and raised fourth, capturing the way flamenco players slide between major and minor over a Phrygian bass. Having both thirds available is exactly what gives the style its vocal quality. Best understood by listening to flamenco rather than by analysis.
