Cm6
C Minor 6th · 4 fingerings
The minor sixth adds a major sixth to a minor triad, and that bright note against the minor third gives Cm6 a bittersweet, faintly exotic quality. It's a favourite in jazz, gypsy jazz, and older film music, and works well as a minor tonic that doesn't sound bleak. Also a common ii chord substitute.
