C♯m

C♯ Minor · 4 fingerings

Lower the third of a major triad by a semitone and you get the minor triad — the same three-note shape with a darker, more introspective character. C♯m turns up constantly in rock, pop, folk, and film music, usually as the emotional counterweight to the major chords around it. It's the other chord shape worth learning first.
